By the time I write this post Sideload has 452,995 Free tracks from 50,045 Artists . It is a website that aggregates popular free music tracks on the web that have been sideloaded into MP3tunes . You can download the music directly by clicking the title of song > source > right click “save as” on the title of the song in the source play list.

Using Dos :

Download md5sum from http://etree.org/md5com.html

sha1sum from ftp://ftp.gnupg.org/gcrypt/binary/sha1sum.exe

place them in C:\windows

Go to Start > Run > type “cmd” (without quotation)

locate your file directory and type “md5sum” or “sha1sum” in this instance format

C:\[directory of your file]>sha1sum [filename]

C:\[directory of your file]>md5sum [filename]

Examples:

C:\Downloads>sha1sum mytest.iso

C:\Downloads>md5sum mytest.iso

or you can use fsum by slavasoft (the all in one MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2( 256, 384, 512), RIPEMD-160, PANAMA, TIGER, ADLER32, CRC32 checker)

There’s easier way to do so by using GUI checker that integrates itself into windows explorer like DigestIT

VirtualBox is simple powerful virtual machine to work with multiple OSs .

For instance, if you are not ready to use Linux and would like to try it, just open VirtualBox as any other programs , set the configuration and load the distro .

You can use either VirtualBox or VMware , in my case mostly I’m using VirtualBox.

Most of the time I’m using Avidemux for joining flv files and converting video files to Mp4 but there are some other functions . After all Avidemux is a free video editor designed for simple cutting, filtering and encoding tasks.

We used to have Anapod (another itunes alternative) for our ipod related but right now we are enjoying our new baby , Sharepod. So far we have no problem what so ever to transfer any media files (yes including video) to our ipod by using sharepod.
